Tsitsikamma Village Inn
I guess the favourite part of what we do is to visit the places we recommend to our guest. Since we try and see as many as possible in the time available we only get a ‘sneak peak’ of our guests shall experience but that’s all we need to decide to recommend to any place to some guests and not to other guests.
So what is it in an accommodation that makes us like it or not so much. After all a bed is a bed; it must be comfy – not to hard and not to soft- en in my case long enough since I don’t like my feet sticking out, especially in winter. At Tsitsikamma we loved the bigger picture.
There are to many different room types to mention in price ranges and styles across the board from basic to fit for a King or Queen, but what they all have in common is comfort and great attention to funky details and you can clearly see it’s owner run and we like them too!
There are several dining options and we absolutely loved Marilyn’s Diner but due to winter opening hours we ended up having dinner in ‘De oude Martha’ and we were again impressed with the quality of food, fast service, reasonable prices and most of all the super friendly staff -not only in the restaurant actually, from the restaurant to the reception to the cleaning staff.
Add to this all the fun stuff to do in Stormsriver and just like that we have another ‘must experience’ destination.
Hat off to the team of Tsitiskamma Village Inn, thank you for giving all our guests a super experience.
